Dear Family and Friends, Praise God for this another challenging month!
A lot of things have been learnt, some prayers had been answered, challenges had been overcome, a lot of restless feet, not enough rest, walk here, walk there, expenses here, expenses there! Whew! But above all these that had happened this month, I am thankful!
Wedding Preparation
In regards to our wedding preparation, 16 days to go before our wedding, we already got our marriage license last February 18, our needs are going down to P60 Thousand, finances are coming in, praise God! We already got all the gowns except one, just waiting for the big day to be worn. I am getting excited on the things God will do as the days are coming near.
In Manila...
We have a DTS team that came from our base in Antipolo, they are 14 of them, they stayed with us for 2 weeks and had helped in the ministries that we have there; Bible study for the youth, mothers and children ministry, campus evangelism in PUP (Polytechnic University of the Philippines) through one on one and classroom to classroom evangelism, conducting a "valentine date" to the youth in Shekinah Chruch last February 12, prayer walk in significant places in Manila like Intramuros and Luneta, prison and hospital visitation, Intercession and preaching in UCCP Church. I wasn't fully involve in every ministry here since I was been busy in our wedding preparation, but it was a good time to be with this team and be of somehow an encouragement and of support to them.
Back in Antipolo
I went back here in the base a week before I go home to settle all my things and ready myself in going home.
People in the base are as usual, busy doing different things; some are busy making the water tank, welding and fixing things, chopping veggies, beautifying the garden and plucking the narra tree roots, cleaning around the community, Friday evangelism outreaches, having 3 days prayer chain, ESL (English as Second Language) class on going and others, just as the same things that we have been doing, you cannot just sit or stand still, there are always something you can do in YWAM Antipolo Training Center.
After our weekly staff meeting, my fellow lady staffs throw a shower party for me which was a bit of surprise because I don't have much idea about this thing. I am thankful and blessed to experience this once in a lifetime shower party, I enjoyed it and I was able to share how God had worked in our love story and had encouraged the single ladies to keep on praying and drawing near to God, for this is the key in receiving what you are asking.
In Everything Give Thanks
Because of the pressures and the thoughts of our needs in the wedding, some conflicts in our relationship, frustrations, I became focus on these things and had forgotten to unload all these cares to God. One night, these verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you," had come into my mind and I began to give all my cares to God and be thankful to Him.
So I thank God that through these circumstances and challenges, it helps me to draw near to Him and to keep on standing on His promises.
Thank you so much for your commitment in prayers and supports to me. God bless you abundantly.
Only By His Grace,
